Cannot using Google Messenger: No Preferred SIM Selected for Sending SMS Message

I am using C4 dual and I cannot use Google Messenger. It shows error msg every time I run this software: "No Preferred SIM Selected for Sending SMS Message".

It ran very well for the first use but after reinstalling it, I cannot use anymore. Any helps could be appriciated.

My Android version is 5.1

Can you go in settings and trying to navigate thru the menu until you find the network settings? I suppose that the version that was provided with the device was already configured to do so but after a reinstall the default working settings got lost.

I try some ways but it does not make any senses. Can you show me more detail of Setting?

Sure thing and sorry for the delay. Let's try with general settings, not the Google Messenger settings.

Tap Settings, click Sim, will appear a menu and at the bottom you will see a menu saying Messaging - tap it, select the Sim you want to use, then try again Google Messenger. Did it work?
