Xperia Z1 battery problem

Hi! I have a Z1 which is almost 3 years old. The battery dies even when it shows that it's over 70%. It goes directly from 70 to 0! If I switch it on immediately it shows 1%! If I switch it on after 15 mins or so it shows 35-40%. Is this a battery issue or could it be a software problem? Please help!

I would think it's hardware related, repair the phone with XC if you want to narrow down the issue, but you should contact your Local support
