Z5 slowing down, apps not opening

My Xperia Z5 has started to slow down, lagging whilst I'm typing and scrolling on webpages. In addition several apps such as YouTube and Audible won't open. Any idea what I can do to rectify this?

Yes, safe mode makes no difference.
