Sorry thought I posted this in E5 forum?

Yes car supports android auto , should have read has not had
@Chanfron wrote:

Looking to get this phone for family member who had car radio that supports mirror link and android auto

This is meant as an enquirer for the Xperia E5 phone, I am looking to purchase one for family member who needs new phone, they don't need anything high end and E5 fits the bill, unless there is a £150 ish Sony phone which supports mirrorlink which as far as I can tell is a no. Android Auto is the other option but was wondering if anyone tried it with E5 Thanks

Hi @Chanfron, the topic is back at the E5 board now. Sorry about the confusion.

According to Google's help site for Android Auto the requirement is that the phone is running Android 5 or later which means it should work with Xperia E5. I can unfortunately not verify that the app is downloadable on the E5 though, due to Android Auto not been available in the region that I am located in.
