Android 6.01 battery problem?

Hi guys,

about a week ago I updated my Z2 to the newest marshmallow software with Stamina and since that update I have serious problems with my device.

Some days ago I was on a trip where my device was running extremly hot (50°) and had after ~6 hours and 1,5h Screen on time only 15% battery. After that trip it started to get a bit better with about 3h screen on time, but still far away from the Lollipop battery life.

Do you think my battery got old and bad, so that I should get a new battery? Are 3h SOT normal for the Xperia Z2?

Btw, Battery Optimisation is off and after I received the update I made a hard reset.

Yes. This is normal if Google play service use so much battery. . And if u use all time gps here is no problem at all.

Wow, that is pretty bad.

My Z2 also on completely stock 6.0.1 (I got this one used, already on 6.0.1) hovers between 4-5H screen on time with constant Bluetooth and WIFI only. Here's one on an absolutely heavy day, I used the phone 100% straight after full charge, bluetooth and wifi on, mainly social media and Podcasts.

Maybe your Google Play Services is a big culprit here...? I mean, in your screenshots, their consumption is HUGE compared to my use (notice the 2% vs the 14% and 7% in OP.) I had the same problem after update. The battery drain very fast and I wanted lollipop back, but this can be done only by sony service. So I do factory reset first and then use sony repair software. Since then the phone works like a charm. Battery last two days without any problem. I noticed the battery last longer then in lollipop. I think the problem is when updating phone on old applications.
