Not sure whether to update

I've read a few things on here about the new 8.0 Oreo software update and I'm a bit wary about updating my Xperia XZ Premium. People seem to be having loads of problems with it. I am wondering if I could leave the update till later when all the bugs are fixed. I have just got the XZP and previously had a Z5 and the update on that basically made my phone useless. So obviously very wary of this update.

I am personally happy with the new update, even though some bugs needs tobe fixed. Feels much snappier than before. Also, the battery life has been amazing for me.

So overall, i would recommend.

I also recommend. The update indeed feels much faster and snappier, plus the battery is even better. I have even done a factory reset to make sure everything will work correctly after the upadate. I haven't experienced any of the issues people complaining here.

The only thing I do have is the Adaptive Brightness that doesn't have so smooth transitions sometimes and therefore causes "blinks".

Otherwise, I still truly recommend you to update.
