Can't pair up with Mi Band 2

Hi,

Not sure if I should ask this question here.

If not sorry.

I just received my Mi Band 2 yesterday and have been trying to pair it up with my Xperia XZ (Android 7.1.1). Been trying to pair it up for a few hours now and tried but still no success. I've tried to google it, but still no success :(.

The things I've tried:

- Pair it up with Mi Fit app (doesn't find it)
- Pair it with Mi Master app
- Fix-it for mi band 2 (freezes everytime I click on pair)
- Notify & Fitness for Mi Band, this works when I type the MAC address manually. But after it says it's connected it doesn't really change anything. Like the time and date still stays the same. I can't use the "test vibrate" etc. So it is connected but actually not. I didn't also receive any vibration on my Mi Band that it is connected or something.
- Reset phone
- Reset Mi Band
- Reset Bluetooth

Also the Mi Band doesn't show up in the bluetooth devices list from my phone. It does show up on the BLE Scanner app list though.

I'm really out of options and hope someone can help me with this.

Hi @poophead156, welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear you are having difficulties with this.

Do you have trouble connecting other bluetooth devices or just this band? If it is just the band, you may wish to contact Xiaomi support.
