Phone is useless. Cannot use at home for more than couple of minutes before wifi goes slow and keeps stopping. Have reset phone.deleted caches history etc. Switched off router. Nothing works.

I have the same problem, my WiFi frequently gets disconnected, same as my Bluetooth, I had to restart my phone to get them working again, i had emailed Sony Mobile support and had followed all their instructions to troubleshoot the phone but still no solution, i really regretted buying this phone, should have stuck with Samsung...

I got the same problem just a few days ago I updated to v. 47.1.A.12.179 and the wifi suddenly disconnected at anytime.

Then I can't connect again to the WiFi network due the whole mobile stuck.

Needs to restart to fix it.

I love my phone but this problem is driving me crazy.

Have a similar wifi (not bluetooth) problem using firmware .145. Restart fixes, but eventually the problem resurfaces again. May wait to update until firmware following .179 is available.

Yeah, this problem came back for me. Happens 1 or 2x per day... Very strange...

Wifi looses conection for a few seconds than reconect itself.

The same problem for me, but after 10-20 minutes the wifi starts again without doing anything! And if I try to restart the mobil it takes very long time until it starts again. Up to 30 minutes. Irritating.

This is so unbelievably frustrating. It can see the WiFi connections available, but refuses to connect to them. I have an XZ1 Compact. I just get a question mark next to the WiFi logo. It has been happening for months. The problem is fixed when I restart the phone, but its now happened for the THIRD time today. Not good enough Sony, especially when you've know about this problem for so long. I can't recommend Sony phones to anyone because of it. I should have stuck to Samsung.

Mods / admins: do you know if this (WiFi issue) has been raised to Sony? Not trying to get this post locked but I've never seen any comment around it (if it has been raised / that they are aware) and as I imported my device (as Sony in my country do not sell the device) I'm not able to get any information out of local support.

Just try to get some acknowledgement that Sony are aware of it...

After the recent 47.1.A.12.235 Update, I recently encountered this issue. All previously remembered wifi connecitons fail to be seen at all when in range. Manually removing/reauthenticating them does not work either, as they are just not seen at all. Has anyone found a workaround for this? There is an article saying to reset the wifi router, however this is not for just my home wifi, but my work, at my in-laws, etc, so that wouldn't be viable for me to fully resolve...
