topic Water, screen problem. in XZ Series

Boys,

I have a silver Xperia XZ, which is water resistant. While walking in Sao Paulo downtown, I heavy rain came down, it took me one minute to find shelter, but since the phone was in my hand it got a little wet. I quickly dried and removed all apparent water and tested it. It seemed fine. Hours later, at my house, I noticed that I couldn't click the button on one app. I then opened a "drawing app" and moved my finger all over the screen with a red paint. I realized that part of the screen, on the top, had no touch working. This "latitudinal" line, from left to right, starts just on the SD Card door. I believe that water could have come in? Anyway, there is no stain on screen or anything, and if it wasn't for the drawing app I wouldn't have noticed. What should I do?

The phone is water resistant, and just a few seconds under water drops it messed up the touch screen?

Help me please, I beg.
