I don't understand how that will help, it's a known software problem.

Is their another fix or do you know if I will get rid of this problem if I buy Sony headphones? Obviously Sony has made it troublesome to use other brands.

I would contact your Local support to get the phone checked, I assume you used soundabout after the headphones stopped working,

What known software problem are you referring to?

If your headset is wireless/bluetooth, you could try to select an older version of the protocol (Bluetooth AVRCP Version) under Developer-section. -Perhaps 1.5 or 1.4 will restore connection to your headset.

If not, your headset is probably defective.

Very had nothing but issues with the low volume on this phone since the update, you can't hear a thing, they need to fix it with another update but seem to be ignoring it all together, for a £500 phone it's a disgrace
