When I woke up, I found it functioning normally except that the phone said it was still verifying the update so I let it be for a while. Once I realized it wasn't going to sort itself out on its own I tried restarting it, but the neverending progress bar was still there. At that point, I had to go to work for the day so I took my phone with me. There was a serious drain on the battery life and the phone was almost dead by the end of the day.
