Phone app since last update don't drop notifications even after call log seen.

Me too! Notifications won't slide down anymore, and the left side button (next to home) no longer functions. Also, my google calendar isn't updating properly. All at once since the update. Will there be a fix?

Try a software repair with Xperia companion.

Maybe that fixes it.

Don't forget to let Google backup your system first and pay attention that your photos are transferred to computer and a separate backup is made from Signal and WhatsApp

I have the same problem.

What worked for me (after researching other threads) was to into Settings then Apps & Notifications

Then in the recently opened apps Select Phone (if phone is not displayed - open the phone app then close it again)

From the App Info screen of the Phone App - click on Force Stop and then confirm by selecting Okay to the "misbehave" message

Now select CLEAR DATA - This will not clear any of your contacts (But back them up if you prefer)

then select Okay to confirm
