Does XZ2 compact supports ANT+ or not? And If not why not?

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact does not appear on the list of devices at "ThisisANT"

Some Xperia models do, but not this one. Also, there seem to be entire product lines that have no models on the list.

Why? No idea.

Maybe because ANT+ is proprietary (owned by Garmin) and Sony is no longer a "partner"?

It appears there are "dongles" that allow almost any Android phone to "talk ANT+"

(Like, none of the Apple products do native ANT+. They all need dongles.)

It's a shame - One of reasons I have sony is also because it supports (khmm supported) ANT+ and I don't know what successor to my Z5C should be (unfortunately not XZ2C)
