Android 10 might kill your phone, do not update!!

My phone got the update. First it got slow and sluggish, then broken and unremovable icons started appearing amongst my apps. They disappeared at restart but came back a couple of hours later. Another restart, gone and back. Today my phone seemed to work fine until suddenly it didn't. Battery was at 60% when suddenly screen goes black. I tried to restart - didn't work. Left it alone for a while - still didn't start. Tried the 10 second & 2 minute force restart - doesn't work. Tried everything according to Sony's support - nothing. Phone doesn't even light up when I plug the charger in, I'm at work and I NEED MY PHONE BUT IT'S COMPLETELY DEAD!

Avoid Android 10 at all cost, it might kill your phone like it has mine. I've had my phone for 1 year without any issues until yesterday, I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed.

I AM having the same problem and i only am using the phone since november. Is there a way to undo the system update?

After the Factory Reset at PC Companion failed, I brought my phone to the store I bought it from and they're sending it (to Sony?) for repair. I have been loaned an older Huawei as a replacement until they have "fixed" my phone... we'll see how that goes... if they can repair it, they will. If it cannot be repaired, I will be refunded or provided with a brand new one.
