Hi all,

I just recently dusted off an old XZ3 compact phone and I am about to give it a new reason of being.

But I can't remember the pattern I used to unlock it. How would I go from here? I tried Xperia Companion but it refused to operate at all saying UEGetPhoneinfoFailure. Sony Support suggests to send the device in. But I'm hesitant doesn't anyone know a solution? There is an google account still active on the phone (belonging to my son). But he already got a new phone years ago, so google doesn't get me anywhere on this. Does anyone has an idea? (even tried Emma to flash it)

TIA

Ol

Try this:

Device charged, switch it off.

Open Xperia Companion, software repair and tick 'device isn't recognized or is a smartwatch'

Follow the instructions exactly from there.

I already did so. Companion then continues and says UEPhoneinfoFailure.
