Even if the signal bar is full, it is often date dropping when downloading，the most annoying some time you open a webpage or download file, you need wait 5-10 sec to wait for date response, and then you see the webpage and download start. It is very slow when opening a web page，You can see that the pictures in the webpage are slowly displayed, and it feels like going back to the 3G speed. Same place same sim card use XZP and samsung note9,xiaomi， No such problem，all download same app like 2-5M speed, xperia 1 only got no more then 1M even the signal bar still full . I tried a lot of locations with a few phones, and it really is lot slower for XPERIA1 data transfer.

It does sound like something is wrong - I get 176 MBit download speeds upstairs at my house and around 80 Mbit downstairs. It's faster than my broadband.

Same as chippy, good 4g speeds when I can get a signal.

130Mbps downloaded on speedtest with 2 bar signal strength.

I'm in London today and seeing 310 Mbps download - not too shabby! (On EE)

But I've noticed my upload speeds are very poor compared to my old Pixel XL on Vodafone.

For example my last speed test gave 310 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload, which seems incredibly unbalanced.

Whether this is an EE "feature" or an issue with my XP1, I am not sure.

Yeah, upload on ee can be shocking imo.

But I guess that's how they can have so much download speed out of their bandwith
