Hi.

I write this post from a PAL video zone. This is the point of my question.

I’ll get a Xperia 1 II if I found here an answer which gives me the insurance for it. Back Market putted me in contact with an American resaler and that wondered me about the set-ups of phone’s video camera. In USA they use NTSC system and here in Europe, we have the PAL system.
If I get a phone from the States, will I need to transcode videos taken with the Xperia, from NTCS to PAL ?

Thanks a lot for reading and more if you have the answer.

Regards Juan.

There is no need for transcoding, you will just have different frequencies (frames per second), but that's not even a given, Digital Videos are now practically unified.
Xperia 1II:
4K HDR Movie recording 24, 25, 30, and 60 fps

Thank you Manolo Martino. That’s the answer that french Sony support couldn’t get me. They asked me for the IMEI number for knowing the specifications of the phone. Oh là là, French people !
