Its simple:
1. Uninstall the ridicioulus Google phone app.
2.Install the "Dialer" app from Google play.
3. PROBLEM SOLVED, youre welcome.

Hi @SirRune,

If you like the Google Phone app, you can wait for the update to be released for it that should fix this.

The roll out started this Monday (25th of November) and hopefully everyone has received the update now or will receive it very soon (the roll out is supposed to continue until early December).

Roll out for Phone app or Android 10? Hopefully Android 10 update also carries a fix for the Finger Print sensor problem

The Google Phone application.

Android 10 will be available in December for the Xperia 5 and the Xperia 1, but I don't have an exact date.

As long as they fix the Fingerprint issue, all is good
