Have you tried connecting more then one headset to your device? If not I would recommend that you try that. If possible try a Sony original headset with your device. Also is it a wired or bluetooth headset you are trying to connect?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the same behavior persists with different headset I'd suggest you try and reboot your device to &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/safe+mode/pd-p/safe_mode" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="187-1"&gt;safe mode&lt;/A&gt; to see if the behavior is due one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the behavior still persists I would recommend that you try to do a &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/software+repair+using+Xperia+Companion/pd-p/software_repair_2" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="190-1"&gt;software repair using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt; to make sure nothing software related is causing the behavior.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know how it goes!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
