Screen is too dark when outside

I have BRIGHTNESS LEVEL at highest.

ADAPTIVE BRIGHTNESS is on.

But, when I am outside I can hardly read or see the screen.

I'm afraid there is no setting that allows you to increase the display's brightness above the maximum level. I will however forward this as user feedback and I apologise for the inconvenience this causes.

According to your reply I have an expensive phone that cannot be used outside?

£230 for an indoor only phone?

Depending on how bright it is outside this can result in the display being hard to read and I'm afraid this can't be avoided. In the end, it all depends on how bright it is outside versus how bright the display can get. I do understand your frustration though and I have forwarded this as feedback.
