I believe on Z5, if you pull the taskbar down during any call, there is always a quick shortcut to end the call.

So just swipe down and press END.

Hi,

I inherited a Z5 phone from my late father in laws estate. It works fine, but there is a problem with the on/off button which is also used as an "end call" button.

I have to press the button hard several times in a certain spot for it to "click" and respond.

I have used the fingerprint reader -- works well. But I believe that the button inside (micro clicker) may have been damaged by John, the previous owner, who may have pressed too hard with his thumb nail or something.

The proximity sensors are fine and test ok. I have even tried a different sim .. Same thing.

Q: Is there a way to reallocate another button for use as and "End Call" , as quite ofter other windows hide the call screen (phone). Otherwise I can live with the problem. I know that the phone is really good, but can't afford someone to open and repair the button if that is at all possible without a main board change.

I'm more concerned with "End Call" as the phone is on 24/7.

Await your reply.

Thank you.

PS. I am a retired Telecom Tech and understand these complex devices.
