Delay when stopping 4k recording

Hi. After making a 4 minute 4k video and pressing 'stop' there is a delay of 1-2 minutes before I am.able to use the camera again. Is this normal? Thanks

Where are you saving the pictures? (SD card or internal storage)

Hi, sd card as I have heard internal storage can cause problems.

Is the SD card fast enough?I do not think that internal storage could have problems as it is faster.

Yes internal memory seems faster to save the file after recording . Should I buy a new sd card? This one is a few years old.

Either get a class 10 micro SD card or save into internal memory and transfer later.

4K will write at about 55Mbps ~ 7 MB/s.You need at least class 6 or 8.But 10 would do great.

Hi,

Just to let you know the new SD card has fixed this. I recorded a 8 min 4k video and it saved instantly, no delay after recording.
