Screen Mirroring Audio Problem

Hello Community,

i have got a problem with screen mirroring to a samsung smart tv with my xperia z2. I get no sound after screen mirroring the video works fine but no sound on tv or smartphone anymore. Can anyone help me or has the same problem?

What kind of help should that be?
The thread you are referring to is about the problem not even being able to connect via screen mirroring. How can it be that throw is working without problems but screen mirroring is without sound? Is there any solution meanwhile? It's not because of my TV. Other devices are working.

I have the same problem. Video works but no sound output.

I got:
Sony Xperia Z2 updated softwares
Samsung TV

Should I get a Sony Smart TV also for this to work? Lol.

Since yesterdays update on my samsung note2 i also lost the audio when screen mirroring...the only way to hear it is by checkmarking the "use internal player" option, so to hear it i have to hace both the screen on the phone and tv playing at the same time this causes a huge battery drain...help!

I am the same problem, Xperia z1 compact will connect with the Samsung tv but no audio, did anyone find a solution? Please help!

Try to factory reset your device http://factoryhardreset.com/procedure-how-to-sony-xperia-z2-hard-reset/

All user data file will be lost.

Same here, using Xperia Xz2 and a Bravia Tv. It's not that sound isn't working but I am getting weird loud noises from my speakers when mirorring phone to tv

I have no audio from my s4 either through my dongle or the smart tv, roku tcl in my case. Something is hosed in s4 firmware.
