not many. as i cant download them because of no memory. it seems to be full of silly apps related to camera and all sony apps. the biggest running apps are ones like google chrome, google search. ones that are needed

I am experiencing the same problem. I bought a Xperia Z2 one year ago for my son and one for me.

With both of them I have the sam problem.

10,8 GB used / of 11,57 GB total memory. ON BOTH PHONES!

9,7 GB of the used internal memory are applications. (I moved all apps that could be moved to SD card, and everything else.)

Exept of the initial apps I got with the phone, I have nothing except Viber and Whatsapp.

I have done the factory reset. No results (few MB less - therefore deinstalled Viber and all Viber messages, all SMS and many contacts deleted ... / after the factory reset there was no space to install again Viber app, which I had before the factory reset!).

All caches are cleaned on my phone (before cleaning I had over 11 GB used, now I have 10,8 GB used).

Today I can't even make a new update available for Sony Mobile Communiocations.

Can anyone help?

I'm having the same problem. It went on for ages so I factory reset which seemed to work but now it's happening again. It says my 16gb is totally full but when I add up the different storage categories it equals less than 9gb. I have hardly any apps and they're all trusted official apps. I think this is planned obsolescence at work..I won't be buying another Sony phone again.
