Greetings my felow Z5 Family owners, i will totally apprecaite if someone could reply to my questions, they are alot but i will appreciate it

Great news from my end, tonight i received on my little Z5 Compact the new update on my device without using PC companion. skipping 30.0.A.6.170 and updated directly to 32.0.A.6.200. However, i noticed the size of the update is so small which is (55.6MB). with this small sized uodate i can assume/tell there isnt a whole lot of changes i call expect. Also, i didnt notice any changes after the update. Actually during the update the device overheated. So may i ask you my fewl owners what you noticed? what have been changed? what was improved? is the overheating is fixed? is the adaptive bug is fixed? is the lag issue is fixed? cmarea app is better? or any issues that i wasnt aware of that were fixed?

I have been wondering about the small size because on the below link you can see the open sourse and the size is above 300 MB:

http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/xperia-open-source-archives/open-source-archive-for-32-0-a-6-200/

I am wondering can i install the open sourse update? what is it for?

i tired googling (32.0.A.6.200 for Z5 Compact) but i came up with no accurate results that i can actually share on here.

Thanks

Yours, Z Compact Owner and a big loyal customer of SONY Corporation.

The camera start is quick now and opening the messaging app doesn't cause lags anymore. Looks good to begin with

I hope they also fixed the battery drain, I'd like to have at least a similar battery lifetime as my old Z3 compact.

(The little 1.5Ghz cores seem to be more aggresive).

- Stagefright 100% fixed.

- baseband and kernel were updated.

- Camera takes photos faster (with any camera app Sony / Google Camera / etc).

Some things that are still pending:

- Camera 2 Api full support

- Adaptive Brightness bug with gamma & display colors.

- Google's "Always On" option (Voice activation when screen is OFF).

But in general an awesome update!

Do official changelogs usually appear somewhere? I'd like to have some more information about it before loading it… I haven't encountered most of the problems other people were having with the previous version, so I hope the upgrade wouldn't introduce anything. Improved performance and battery life always do sound nice, though.

Just two quick questions:

This always-on "Ok Google" feature has opt-out, right? Not keen on stuff inadvertently ending up in my Google Voice Search archive, and it can't be good for battery life either.

What is this adaptive brightness bug that has been mentioned? I use adaptive brightness, and haven't noticed any issues, in fact it seemed much more responsive and reliable than on the Z1C I've used before.

I personally have more problems with the "Adaptive Brightness" bug than before.

I need to change the brightness (or cover the light sensor) many times per day to fix the gamma after unlocking the phone.

Tried to disable "Adaptive Brightness" but didn't help, because I'm constantly switching between outdoor (sun light) and indoor (low light) so this is not an option.

Seems my connection issues are still about sometimes. I take it the repair wipes your phone (not the SD)?
