It can handle both, you will be able to record 4k and slowmotion to the sd card, only the u3 will be a little bit faster with things like moving apps to or from your sd card.

Hi, thinking on Android 6 and new SD card support to use as internal storage I'm looking for a faster microSD card.

I see Samsung Pro and Samsung Pro+, both from 64Gb.

The difference is that the first one is SD class 10 U1, and the Pro+ U3.

The PRO version (U1) can read up to 90Mb/s and write up to 80Mb/s

The PRO+ (U3) can read up to 95Mb/s and write up to 90Mb/s

but, does the Xperia Z2 can handle the U3 SD cards? or the Samsung Pro U1 version should be enough

Hi @eXPerience,

All Xperia™ devices support the SD™ bus mode UHS-I, which is compatible with SD™ card speed class 2, 4, 6, and 10, UHS Speed Class 1 (UHS1) and UHS Speed Class 3 (UHS3). The actual write speed may vary depending on how data is written by the application. It is up to application to take full advantage of the cards given speed class.

I'll let you know as soon as I know anything new.

Does this mean UHS-II or UHS-III cards won't work in Xperia C5? Will buying these cards over UHS-I Card will make any difference in speed?
