topic Xperia screen flickering - ghost touches in General chat

Hi, If I put my phone in my pocket without turning the screen off it registers any number of touches on the screen and I cannot get it to stop flickering and ghost touching itself and it won't respond until it has finished, is there a way of breaking this cycle and bringing the phone straight back to normal please? Thanks, Martin.

Depending on which model you have, there may be a setting in:

Settings, display "prevent accidental touches with screen off"

This limits the touch response when the proximity sensor detects it is in a dark place like a bag, or pocket.
