I bought a Sony tv because it had a 5 year guarantee, when I tried to register it on website I was told the model I had enetered was not sold in Europe, I'm in Uk, so had to register it as nearest comparable code number.

i have sent 5 requests for confirmation I have a 5 year warranty to Sony and have been totally ignored, I bought it from Aplliances direct and they too have ignored me.

it seems that Sony could not give a toss about customers once they have your money.

absoluely disgusted at Sony.

I WILL NEVER BUY A SONY PRODUCT AGAIN!

In general, products sold in a country are meant for that country/region. It would be nice if you let us know the model number of your TV as it appears on the sticker on the back:
