I have an Activision flashback that connects to the tv with a dongle. I plug it in. It shows that it is hooked up in the input screen. Nothing happens when I choose the port that I am plug into. It simply closes the input screen

we did connect power to the dongle. The TV shows that the dongle is hooked
up and powered on, but still nothing.

I have hooked up the dongle to a power source using the USB. It shows on TV to be connected, but nothing comes up.
