Amazon Fire Stick and Sony Surround Sound

Was wondering if anyone can help me connect my Amazon Firestick to use with my Sony surround sound. The firestick works great with my Sony Bravia tv model #KDL-40S3000 but does not come through my surround sound. Only hear it on 2 of my 6 speakers. My receiver is the Sony Home Theatre System DAV-HDX465/466/665 and only has an output HDMI port.

I’ve tried a number of things already.
I would appreciate any direction anyone can give me thanks.

I don't think that's the way to go. You should be able to get the sound from your Firestick while it's connected to the TV from the audio system. How is the DAV connected to the TV?

Thanks but got it to work. Had to change one of my audio outputs.
Works great now!
