HTS20R Speaker Extension Cable

Have recently bought a HTS20R surround sound, problem I have is that the cable for the small speakers are too short, does anyone know if there is an extension cable available, I have phoned my local Sony shop who suggested that I cut the cable and put in my own extension, the current cable has a small push in plug which connects to the sub woofer, a cable with the plug and socket is what I’m looking for, any help would be appreciated

Sony only makes the original cables, so your best chance would be to check for your nearest store if they have Sony-compatible cables that are longer.

Thanks, have already spoken with local store , don’t supply and can’t help ,trying to source the plugs,sockets and pins so I can make my own

I suspected as much, sadly I can't help with those parts as I only know about this thread and I'm not quite certain these parts are available, but it's possibly worth a shot if you haven't checked it out already.

That said, it'd be really helpful to others if you share your findings here in the future.
