Hi

I know havethis is old equipment , but hopefully there might be some enthusiasts out there.

I recently bought a minidisc player which won't turn on . This is the second model which appears to have the same fault.

Essentially when powered up the red light turns on , I hear a slight click , but then nothing. No error messages , no display at all . I opened it up and cannot see any damage at all , no it looks almost new. Tried remote , nothing , tried putting in disc , dead , there doesn't appt to be any internal fuse and very limited information on the internet .

However a number of posts people are reporting similar issues, my question is , has anybody come across this and is it fixable. Is it bad connection , solder joint, capacitor etc.

Any advice greatly appreciated

Regards
