topic Bluetooth static data interruptions on HT-X8500 in between tracks playing from MacBook in Hi-fi Systems

When I play music to the HT-X8500 from my MacBook over Bluetooth there are very loud static data interruptions in between some tracks. This doesn't happen playing exactly the same tracks from my iPhone via Bluetooth (which I have downloaded from my Mac). So there must be something with how Music is transmitting the data to the speaker from MacBook - I've checked and AAC codec is being used from MacBook ... does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix the issue as it's really annoying!

Hi mamobbs,

Well, if it's working fine with your phone it must be something with the MacBook.

Maybe it's better to contact someone from Apple to find out if there's an issue with the music transfer.

Cheers

Thanks - but the MacBook plays fine on my other portable Bluetooth speaker,
so it’s definitely something in the transmission between my Mac and the
Sony speaker.
