Sony A7iii with 200-600

Morning

For some reason my camera image quality has become very poor, I have reset factory settings and lens firmware, images have been fine before.

I have a7iii with 200-600 and when using the MF, preview looks great and sharp but final image is poor.

Any advice would be great.

Would you share full res images, just to understand the situation?

from your screenshot, first image seems ok, second is overexposed and with front focus

Hey JamesBuxton, did you try a different lens? What are the settings you're shooting with?

Are you sure the camera is updated to this version?

Camera is on latest firmware.

Other Lens ok.

Anyone got a link to share full res pictures?

Hey, you can use any free online photo uploading platform just to get a clearer picture of the issue you have.

To me seems a good quality at 4000iso.

Unsure if the focus is more near the grass than the stones, but as general quality seems normal

I just find it odd when you look through the viewfinder and use a manual focus the quality of details amazing but soon as you take the actual picture, the quality deteriorates.

Maybe

The shutter speed into evf is 1/60 or slower. Compared to 1/3200 of the actual pic you had lost about 5-6 stops of “quality”.
