FDR AX700 will not work with VRD MC6

Hi, I can't seem to get my FDR AX700 camcirder to work with my VRD MC6 direct dvd recorder.

I've tried all avenues. Connected by HDMI or AV and I just get 'connect a comoatable camcorder' message on the screen of the MC6.

I also removed the memory card from the camcorder (XC type which is compatible with the MC6) but get 'please use comoatable memory card' message on the MC6 screen.

My recordings are AVCHD which is also supposed to be compatability with the MC6.

Any help much appreciated.

Hello @CLAGMONSTER,

according to the manual, the VRD MC6 doesn't support SDXC cards, only SDHC cards with up to 32GB in space.

In your FDR AX700 you are probably using a bigger SDXC card, hence the incompatibility.
