Have anyone any idea how to get the driver for the:

ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470” – Sony Vaio VPCE C3S0E – Windows 7

Believe or not that the Sony site has not idea about the Sony Vaio VPCE C3S0E

I don’t know how they offer it in the market before make all its driver available on the site!

What service is this?

have you tried looking here? from here you can change the vaoi model number. Ive noticed that you have asked about various drivers for various models lately. it may be easier for you to change the model yourself rather than asking everytime you need need a driver for any given model.

I’m really tired from searching for drivers for Sony!

Yes, I’ve two lap tops:

Sony Vaio VPCE C3S0E – Windows 7 – 32 Bit

Sony Vaio VGN FZ240E – Windows XP

The problem that i got so many hints but the problem stays the same!!!!!

I’m looking for drivers!!!!! Not for anything else, they should be available with an easy way to approach them!!!

In the link that you have sent, the update for the ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 is for windows 7 – 64 bit!!!!! But not 32 bit!!!!!!!

My question is easy! It’s about drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m not sure what’s Sony doing?

Sony: Big name but with very little customer service!!!!!!!

is that how you bought the machine, with this graphics card and a 32 bit OS?

i've been onto the amd site and they say they they do not release their own drivers so looks like its down to sony (if they supplied it with a 32 bit OS)

The specifications for the VPCEC3S0E say it is sold with Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit) installed.

However, the original ATI driver supplied is both 32/64-bit compatible: -

hi,

when i install ati 5470 driver it asks for restart and when i do that i get a weird display of distorted coloured screen

i have downloaded the driver form sony website and my current OS is windows 7 ultimate service pack1, some times screen becomes dead so i connect the laptop to external monitor to use.

there are no proper forums on VPCEB1Z0E models i am having this graphical issues after doing a fresh install of windows ultimate.
