wifi shuts when tablet shuts no notifications help

when i start to download any file which is big ,after the screen goes black after 1 minute the WiFi also stops working i have to start the machine again and the WiFi starts to work again and the file starts to download again

it means that i wont be getting any notifications while the screen is off as the WiFi is off .not nice

any way of getting around it

In wifi settings change the disconnection policy to never , hopefully this should fix it.

you can also set the screen timeout setting to a longer interval

you can also install a screen timeout toggle widget from the market, and use that to keep wifi alive.

you can also use thet setting Applications Development 'Screen will not time out when charging'

Updating your wireless driver would help too. You can first check if there's one available.

What are you talking about, it's a Tablet S so it's not possible to update the driver..:smileyshocked:
