KDL40EX653 - Internet connection

Hello,

Within the last year I purchased a Sony Bravia TV (KDL40EX653) but I find the internet difficult to navigate on it.

The available Apps / Channels that are on the TV are limited and I am wondering how to enhance this. I currently do not have Google / Netflix etc... I am living in Ireland so not sure what is available/not available. Youtube is working fine so not sure if I need an enhancement to the TV or not.

I would really appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction here.

Hi there

First thing to do, is ensure you have the latest firmware installed.

Next, try doing a "Refresh Internet Content" : HOME > Settings > Network.

Im not sure how many you are suppose to have, but 2011/2012 apps are limited, compared to 2013/2014 TVs. Although I believe Netflix should be available - even for Ireland
