Waiting for confirmation on Picasa as well

Currently there are no ETAs on a resolution. Any information received will be posted here.

It's a shame that there is no ETA, Social View feature become just useless.

I have to agree that it is a shame that ther is no ETA. This was bought up with Sony yesterday and unfortunately there really is no new information.

Very poor service from Sony. Problem two weeks old, no solutions, no ETA. I can't even send them an email via their support pages, it times out... Very frustrating...

My TV Model is 42W805B, Facebook, TV Tweet (and Social View) and Playmemories off-line.

I've got a 42W705B. Just installed the latest software update (PKG2.235EUA) and pleased to report twitter (socialview and TV Twitter) and facebook working fine

Thanks guys.

Sony has also confirmed that the update is needed for 2014 TVs. Unfortunately 2013 is still unavailable.

Sony KDL-42W805A

I think after firmware update twitter and facebook after 1 month not working ... i Receive a error message "Login error".

TV Tweet still not working for me i hope sony to takeout a new firmware as soon as possible. I am very disappointed with support.

Till now problem has been solved on 2014 lineup TVs, 2013 fw, like yours, should be released soon.

Firmware released on Nov 18th also for 2013 Tv's. FB and Twitter are now working.
