Hello,

I would like you guys to help me with a problem with my otherwise amazing Bravia TV.

The issue is a constant flickering of the screen that comes from a change in the brightness of the image plus a change in the bottom border of the screen. It's like the TV is constantly adjusting its brightness. And when I say constantly imean this happens every couple of seconds, regardless of the input method or the settings. Hopefully the gif attached can give you an idea of what I am speaking about.

I would really appreciate any support on this.

I would suggest performing a reset or a Factory Data Reset on your KDL-42W829B. You can find out how to do this here.

I have performed a factory reset but the problem persists.

I have checked the community's forum and as far as I can tell I am the only one with this problem, as far as I can tell.

Do you have any other suggestions I can follow?
