Jittery sound issue

Sometimes when changing channel the sound is jittery. Changing channel and then back seems to clear it. My tv is a Bravia KD-49ex7003. Is this a known problem?

Hi Fozzie26,

I don't think I've encountered this issue before. You can try the following steps by order and check if they can help:

1- You can make sure the recorder is running on the latest firmware using this link: https://bit.ly/2M0y63v.
2- Try the steps mentioned on page 40 in the part of "sound breaking up" troubleshooting in the user manual in this link: https://bit.ly/2ftCWLI
3- Try to reset the device to factory settings using the reset button illustrated on page 7 in the user manual.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately a factory reset was done but still got the problem. Seems to be the tv that has the problem.

Hi Fozzie26,

Since the broadcast is tuned on the SVR-HDT500, I'd highly doubt that it's the TV's issue.

Does this issue happen with any other external device connected to the TV? Could you try to use the SVR-HDT500 with another TV and check if the same issue will occur?
