Sony BRAVIA remote issues

The SONY remote seems to be registering with the BRAVIA TV - green lights flashing when a button is being pressed to suggest the TV is receiving a signal from the remote but a lot of the button functions are not working (volume, NETFLIX, home, return etc).

Any fixes?
