Hi I turned on yesterday and started smoking from the back of the tv,

I have turned it off now

as anyone had this issue

seen a lot about 2007 to 2008 sony tv smoking

Although out of warranty would this be something Sony would repair

The best thing to do is to contact Support straight away.

The problem with repair and cost of repair is it depends on exactly what has caused

the smoke and also what damage may have been caused internally from the heat causing the smoke.
