Black screen on Bravia KD 43XG8405

This evening by TV had a black square in the middle which then expanded across the whole screen, have sound but no picture. Tried the power off reset options but did not make any difference. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you have any external devices? If you have any, try to disconnect all of them and disconnect the TV from the mains and try again

Hi, tried these suggestions at the weekend with no success. Think the only option is to try a local repair man to see if he has any success. Thanks for the pointers
