I've had this TV for nearly 3-years. I've lost count of the number of times I've wanted to take a sledge hammer to it.

From day 1 it has been painfully slow to connect to apps such as iPlayer, Amazon Prime, Netflix.

Tonight, it won't connect to the iPlayer at all.

The firmware is; v8.631-1000-4.000-0002

It's the same whether it is connecting via wi-fi or a direct cable into the router (BT full fibre).

I can go upstairs and turn on a Samsung TV and connect over wi-fi instantaneously.

This will be the last Sony product I will ever buy. If I don't get it sorted out in the next couple of weeks, it will be replaced by a Samsung. I've never had a problem with them, or LG.

I've tried a factory reset. That helps for a couple of days, then it's back to it's usual pathetic state.

This TV is still under a John Lewis 5-year guarantee.
