    <description>&lt;P&gt;I could be wrong but firmware is indeed something that is not flashed onto the HDD. It could be better if you find a service manual for your device but you can tray formatting or repair the HDD via the setup utilities of your SVR.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all, had a problem with my harddrive in my Sony SVR - HDT1000 a while ago, and just now trying to resolve the problem. I have another blank harddrive and going flash the software onto it. But, I can't find or source the firmware needed all I can find, is te update but need the orginal before I can update.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help muc appriecated?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
