Hi,

I recently bought a STR-DN840 receiver/amp and have been very pleased with it so far. Today I rearanged my living room, moving my TV and the receiver to the other side of the room. Since doing this this receiver will not turn on - its plugged in and when you press the on/off button, there is a click (like normal), the LED turns to green (like normal), but the nothing else happens then after a few seconds the LED turns off (normaly red on standby?), the click happens again and thats it.

I've checked the cables, fuse in the plug and even returned the unit to the original plug socket, all to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated as this problem has really wound me up!

Cheers,

Tyler

EDIT: it was working literally just before the move...I understand it could be the move that has broken something but I am really careful with my electronics and didn't even man handle the recevier itself as I just dragged the whole TV stand across the room with it on...
