Will 40d ever be on BDP-s3100?

I foolishly bought the BDP-s3100 without checking everything... and now I do want a player with a 4od app (Channel 4 on demand in the UK)

I've seen hints on other threads that this may happen in the future? A yes/no would be great, as if no I will sell and get a Samsung.

Tried mailing support direct to no avail, which is a bit disappointing.

Hi there

Until Sony make an announcement of 4OD and ITV Player, there is absolutely no way to know if/when this will happen - therefore any chatter is speculation.

If you want a direct answer from Sony, contact them : HERE

Alternatively, you could add a freesat or youview box to your setup, or even some type of android media player (search amazon for that).
