Xperia 10 Google Cardboard isn't compatible

I have tried to get VR working on my new Xperia 10 but Google Cardboard isn't compatible. All the other VR apps say Google Cardboard is required. How can I get VR to work without Cardboard?

The reason it doesn't work is bc the Xperia 10 doesn't have a gyroscope.
