I have an older Sony RX10M1 camera at home (first generation from 2013) and I found a new use for it. I would like to use it for OBS studio as a webcam, I bought a USB video card and microHDMI cable and everything works great, I am very happy with the quality. But I can't figure out how to turn off USB mode to charge the camera at the same time (or at least keep it on, it doesn't necessarily need to charge). But I haven't found anywhere on the internet a way to turn off USB mode. It doesn't matter if I connect the camera to my computer or to a charging adapter, it always enters USB mode, I tried replacing Mass Storage with MTP, that didn't help and I don't see any other settings on the camera. So is there really no way to use the camera so that it doesn't die? Will I just have to charge it every hour? That seems pretty stupid to me, I'm pretty much done with it. Does anyone have any experience with this please? Thanks a lot.
